    • This term can be obtained from the usual electron-phonon Hamiltonian by substituting the z coordinate with (Formula presented) and by remaining only the (Formula presented)-phonon branch. The two-dimensional problem for the electron-(optical) phonon Hamiltonian is strongly affected by higher-order graphs which could lead to strong renormalization of the bare vertices which couple electrons in different planes [see, e.g., V. N. Kostur and B. Mitrović, Phys. Rev. B 48, 16t388 (1993)]. It is assumed that vertex in Eq. (1) is effectively renormalized. This vertex is taken only to second-order in perturbation expansion.
