    • The shift of the PET ester carbonyl peak to a higher wavenumber is indicative of the change in the local environment of this group when the polymer contacts BTMS. BTMS is more hydrophobic than either ATMS or γ-GPS. A similar shift in this peak was also observed at the interface between PET and a siloxane material and will be reported in the future.
