    • The values of the fitted parameters for N-100 differ from those used in the previous study [12] due to a difference in the treatment of χ: Each of χ in the present paper and Ref. [12] is defined as the mixing interaction between solvent molecules and overall network, and that between non-mesomorphic segments and overall nematic molecules (i.e., mesogen and solvent), respectively. The later treatment yielded a too large effect of z on swellability to fit satisfactorily the data of the networks varying network nematicity
