23. The dimension x of a local operator at a fixed point O is defined through the asymptotic decay of its correlation function TτO (τ)O (0) ∼1 τ2x. Since these local operators live in one dimension (time), the scaling dimension of the corresponding dimensionless coupling in the Hamiltonian is simply y=1-x. [See, e.g., J.
