    • According to ICPMS measurements the copper content of the commercial diethylzinc solutions used is (50 ± 5) μM or less. This gives a ligand/copper ratio of at least 100:1 and a zinc/copper ratio of at least 20 000:1. We assume that these copper ions do not play any role in the catalyst cycle since other catalysts show no cuprate-like behavior.
