They have reported the 0.3eV shift of the 3d band of the B2-type Fe2VAl in comparison to Fe3Al in a conventional x-ray-photoelectron study. However it seems that EF was estimated higher in energy by ∼0.5eV than the present study and that the spectra show an additional feature around Eb=9.5eV and no fine structures due to its low energy resolution and surface preparation of the Ar sputtering.
