In this trial patients had to receive PCI within an identical short delay: 1-3 h from randomization. The main finding of this study is that the strategy of performing early post thrombolysis cardiac catheterization and appropriate intervention is well tolerated and reduces length of hospital stay and the need for revascularization induced by spontaneous recurrence of ischemia during 12 months follow-up.
