Can the detection of prey DNA amongst the gut contents of invertebrate predators provide a new technique for quantifying predation in the field?
-
This study is the result of collaborative research on natural enemy-pest interactions in agro-ecosystems, led by Matthew Greenstone. The research would not have been possible without the skills brought to the project by Daniel Rowley (Molecular Biology), Udo Heimbach and Jonathan Lundgren (carabid Ecology), Robert Pfannenstiel (spider Ecology), and Stephen Rehner (Molecular Systematics).
