    • The SQUID inductance L was estimated in two ways. In the first, we measured the mutual inductance with respect to a current along the counter electrode, and assumed this value to be [formula omitted] In the second, we measured the maximum and minimum critical currents, and estimated β from Fig. 4 of Ref. 2. The two methods agreed to within 4% and 7% for SQUID’S A and B. We have used the first method to obtain the values quoted in the tables. We did not measure C and R directly, and the errors in the quoted values may be as high as [formula omitted]
