Severe neurological complications after central neuraxial blockades in Sweden 1990-1999
-
Moen V, Dahlgren N, Irestedt L. Severe neurological complications after central neuraxial blockades in Sweden 1990-1999. Anesthesiology 2004; 101:950-959. This describes one of the most recently published retrospective studies of complications from central neuraxial blockade. The study concluded how obstetric patients had a lower incidence of complications and how epidural had more complications than spinal blockade.
