    • Liang CC, Chang YL, Chang SD, et al. Pessary test to predict postoperative urinary incontinence in women undergoing hysterectomy for prolapse. Obstet Gynecol 2004; 104:795-800. This was the first study to demonstrate that occult incontinence is actually associated with increased POSUI risk. The study demonstrates that TVT prevents POSUI in occult-incontinence patients without significant complication. It also suggests that a negative stress test rules out the risk for POSUI.
