    • The temporal change in temperature was obtained by numerically solving a heat-diffusion equation. The heat-diffusion constant of ferrierite was estimated using the thermal conductivity and heat capacity of silica and the density of the ferrierite sample. In the estimation, only heat diffusion in the ferrierite sample was considered; heat diffusion and thermal radiation into the ambient gas phase were not included, Thus, the actual temperature decrease should be faster than the estimated value.
