note
-
Data were subjected to ANOVA by using the general linear model procedure of SAS [23]. Pen means served as experimental units. Significant differences among means were separated to determine the effects of phosphorus levels on response criteria by repeated t-tests using the least squares means option of SAS. Linear regression analysis was performed to evaluate the relationship between different bone parameters by using the general linear model procedure of SAS [23]. All statements of significance were based on P < 0.05. Nonlinear regression analysis was conducted using the PROC NLIN procedure of SAS [23] to estimate the breakpoints of response variables, incorporating the SAS macro of Robbins [24].
