Evidence and characteristics of putative human alpha recombination hotspots
-
Zhang J, Li F, Li J, Zhang MQ, Zhang XG (2004) Evidence and characteristics of putative human alpha recombination hotspots. Human Molecular Genetics, 13, 2823-2828. Roger Butlin has recently moved to the University of Sheffield from the University of Leeds, where work on this review began. His research on speciation concentrates on hybrid zones, with current projects on both grasshoppers (Chorthippus) and winkles (Littorina). He is also interested in the maintenance of sexual reproduction, using freshwater ostracods as models. Currently, his laboratory is supported by grants from BBSRC, NERC and the European Commission.
