Transient abdominal ovariopexy for adhesion prevention in patients who underwent surgery for severe pelvic endometriosis
-
Ouahba J, Madelenat P, Poncelet C. Transient abdominal ovariopexy for adhesion prevention in patients who underwent surgery for severe pelvic endometriosis. Fertil Steril 2004; 82:1407-1411. Temporary abdominal oophoropexy for 4 days in a small number of women appears to be effective in decreasing adhesion to the ovaries in women with stage III and IV endometriosis. This could be a promising surgical technique to prevent ovarian adhesions.
