Here, we use an approximate function PSh = (1.448y – 9.136)/4 for YBa2Cu3Oy system. From ref. 22, the metal-insulator transition point is determined to be y ~ 6.42. According to the study [I. D. Brown: J. Solid. State. Chem. 90 (1991) 155], we assume Psh = 0.04 for y = 6.42 and Psh = 0.25 for y = 7.0. The linear interpolation between them leads to the above form.
