    • According to a different approach, one might compare the behaviour of equimolar solutions; see. for instance, Serin et al. in ref. [25] below. In this way, an apparent gain in luminescence intensity for the dendritic case may be registered, as compared to what happens in (he component model, simply because of the increased absorbance within the dendrimer. that is, because of absorption of a greater number of photons. However, given that the luminescence quantum yield refers to photons emitted over photons absorbed (per unit time), it seems more appropriate to deal with isoabsorbing conditions.
