In addition to its programs for girls, Techbridge also offers training and resources for teachers and parents. At monthly meetings and summer workshops, teachers learn new curricula to more effectively engage girls in technology, to network with colleagues, and to gather resources for their classrooms. Parents receive resources and information on how to support their daughters' interest in technology. Major funding for Techbridge has been provided by the National Science Foundation, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation. For more information about Techbridge, see Chabot Space and Science Center, "Techbridge: Encouraging Girls in Technology," http://www.chabotspace.org/visit/ programs/techbridge.asp.
