10. Actually, the puckering of the 5-membered ring predicted by AMI turns out to be nearly zero, which is different from what is experimentally found by X-ray diffraction. However, when the X-ray geometry of 1 was used in CD calculations, the resulting spectrum was not significantly different from the one obtained by using the AMI geometry.
