1. Before 1989, individual library non-book cataloging records were not entered into the WLS generated COM catalog (monthly microfiche catalog). Records that were created by an individual library for non-book materials only appeared in that library’s local card catalog.
2. CARL bought the UTLAS system in 1991, and subsequently became the WLS vendor. In 1999, WLS converted from CARL to the DYNIX system, an epixtech product.
