    • HF observed in the NMR spectra are consistent with the presence of only Z-alkenes, whilst the oxime groups were present in both the syn and anti forms. These oximes are the result of nucleophilic addition of hydroxylamine to the triple bond, due to the extremely strong electron-attracting effect of the perfluorinated group, as described in the literature:
