54. We used the Metropolis algorithm with sequential updating of the sites. At variance with the Metropolis algorithm with random updating, this dynamics is not reversible (it does not satisfy detailed balance). Nonetheless, it is commonly accepted that in the critical limit these two dynamics should both belong to the dynamic universality class of model A that describes a reversible diffusive dynamics without conservation laws.
