It should be noted that EXAFS fits were also performed on the sample at an intermediate stage of illumination, shown in Figure 1. These data clearly required a short Fe-N distance (1.61 Å) in the fit (see Figure S4-S6 in the Supporting Information), supporting the fact that the change in electronic structure is coupled to the formation of a short Fe-N bond (1.6 Å).
