    • Observed ligand effect is in sharp contrast to that in the Cu-catalyzed (asymmetric) 1,2-hydrosilylation of ketones and 1,4-hydrosilylation of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds. It has been reported that the hydrosilylations were remarkably accelerated by some diphosphines of normal bite angles. To the contrary, we observed that Xantphos was less effective than the normal diphosphines for the hydrosilylations, see: (a) Lipshutz, B. H.; Noson, K.; Chrisman, W. J. Am. Chem.
