Synthesized from the oxime methyl ether of cyclo-propyl methy lketone by deprotonation with nBuLi followed by alkylation with bromomethylmethylether according to the protocol developed by: Shatzmiller S. Dolitzki, B-Z. Liebigs Ann. Chem. 1991;189. The alkylated oxime methylether was purified by distillation under reduced pressure and reduced with LiAlH4 in refluxing THF.
