It is equally possible to write a temperature dependent gluon condensate from the trace of the full stress-energy tensor. However, that trace requires renormalization. After proper renormalization, its value is not Δ, but Δ + B(g) × 〈F2〉0/2g3, where 〈F2〉0 is the gluon condensate at T = 0.
