Arch Phys Med Rehabil 2003; 84:915-920. The Bi-Manu-Track arm trainer enabled the bilateral passive and active practice of a forearm pro and supination and wrist flexion and extension. Wrist and finger spasticity diminished considerably in eight patients, non-functional improvements of motor function occurred in five patients. At follow-up, the effects had waned.

Treadmill training with partial body weight support and an electromechanical gait trainer for restoration of gait in subacute stroke patients: a randomised cross-over study. Stroke 2002; 33:111-118. A randomised cross-over study of 30 non-ambulatory subacute stroke survivors compared the electromechanical gait trainer, GT I, and treadmill training with partial BWS. All but seven patients preferred the gait trainer.
