note
-
LC to particle anchoring could be due to direct interaction between LC molecules and particle surface and due to indirect interaction between the particle and LC molecules because of large permanent and induced dipole moments of the particles.

note
-
To construct the more sophisticated formulae for calculations of the effective dielectric function of a ferroelectric suspension one has to account the difference between the applied electric field, electric field in LC host and electric field inside particle. Here we restrict ourselves only the simplest linear extrapolation.
