    • Actually, rather than a reaction probability this ratio can be taken as a partial cross section leading into the photodissociation i channel. [See, for example, R. Schinke, Photodissociation Dynamics (Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 1992).] Nevertheless, the small range of impact parameters associated with the excited van der Waals molecular configuration, as well as the involved photoinitiated intracluster reaction, suggest to us to consider it as a (bimolecular) reaction probability.
