    • This identity assumes that the fluctuation-dissipation theorem (FDT) between the spin-spin correlation function and (Formula presented) holds. Although spin glasses behave intrinsically nonergodic, it has been shown experimentally that, at least for some systems, the FDT is obeyed [see, e.g., M. Alba, J. Hammann, M. Ocio, and Ph. Refregier, J. Appl. Phys. 61, 3683 (1987), and the references cited therein].
