note
-
In the present paper, we compare our results to ARPES measurements in the cuprates in the nodal direction k = (0;0)-(π,π). This is done without microscopic justification. However, it is worth mentioning that in Refs. 43 and 44, the band structure of a disordered array of stripes is computed, and is found to have a nodal component. This implies that the ID physics along the stripes is being mirrored in this direction. We also mention that, according to Ref. 45, effective ID physics can emerge in a 2D system with straight Fermi segments and strong interactions.
