    • note
    • It important to note that the interaction graphs represented here are based on models controlling for all antecedent variables. The intercepts plotted here are taken from the complete models and therefore have little direct meaning in the figures in terms of the scaling of the dependent variable. While the low talk group for Internet campaign exposure in Figures 2 and 3 suggests a significant negative slope, it is important to note if the slopes are plotted for high and low talk subsamples respectively, the effects for the low group are nonsignificant, with strong positive effects for the high talk group. The particular shape of the interaction in part depends on the method chosen for plotting, so the reader is urged to be cautious in interpreting the graphs.
