    • All the dendrimers have been synthesized by adding 200 mg Pheophorbide a succinimide ester to the unmodified DAB dendrimer (DSM) in 20 ml DCM in a molar ratio of 6:1. A small amount (5 drops) of triethylamine has been added as well as 100 mg dicyclocarbodiimide for deprotonation of the dendrimer and catalization. After stirring for 4 days at room temperature in the dark the product was dried an rinsed several times with acetone and supersonic

    • Due to the better overlap of the bathochromic shifted trap absorption with the monomer fluorescence spectrum the transfer probability is increased, but on the other hand decreased due to the lower extinction of the traps
