26. If we lift the reactor constraint, the large (Formula presented) limit gives a reasonable fit to both the Kamiokande and SuperKamiokande data. This is because the matter effect (Formula presented) can account for the zenith angle dependence in case of three flavor oscillations with large (Formula presented) 910.
