    • 1 band in the monomer. This suggests that small amounts of unpolymerized monomer may be present in the polymer samples. However, this can be excluded based on the chemical synthesis route used. We therefore conjecture that the signal at 0.4 eV may be caused by end groups of the polymer chain.
