2. The letter D means a structure formed by dimerization of the aminoborane. while C means a structure formed by the crossover [2+2] cyclization between an aminoborane and ethene. The letter N means a structure in which the methyl group of the added propene lies near the nitrogen atom of the aminoborane, while B means a structure in which the methyl group lies near the boron atom. The open chain structures formed from the [4+2] ene-type reactions are designated with the letter O. Transition states are labaled ts.
