5. 2. After stirring for about 1 hr, the mixture was refluxed for 7 hrs and then cooled at room temperature. The yellowish solid was separated by filtration and washed with distilled water (50 mL) and then MeOH (95%,50 mL × 4) to remove unchanged reagents. The product was sufficiently pure for most purpose. Yield : > 95%.
