29. 36Ar, the near saturation of the absolute SU(3) B(E2) values suggests that the wave functions for the low-spin members of the SD band are both highly coherent and, despite the large spin-orbit splitting in both the sd and pf shells, dominated by a relatively small number of the leading SU(3) representations.
