    • As the surfactants are charged, the variation of the surfactant concentration changes, generally speaking, the ionic strength of the solution. However, typically the concentration of added salt is much higher than CAC so that the screening of the Coulomb interactions in the solution are dominated by salt ions. Therefore we can consider the surfactant concentration and the ionic strength of the solution as two independent parameters.
