    • Clinical spectrum of episodic ataxia type 2
    • Jen J, Kim GW, Baloh RW. Clinical spectrum of episodic ataxia type 2. Neurology 2004; 62:17-22. This is a large series of 64 genetically identified patients with episodic ataxia type 2. Almost all patients had episodic (rather than progressive) ataxia, interictal nystagmus and onset before 20 years of age. More than 50% had vertigo with the ataxia. A history of migraine was obtained in more than half of the patients. Two thirds responded to acetazolamide.
