The colour of the solution during the addition of the organic reagents, however, changes more clearly in the Co(0)- with respect to the Sm(II)-mediated reactions and, as a consequence, the reactions are more easily monitored. To this concern, the addition of trimethylsilyl chloride may help, but it has no consequences on the yield of the reactions
