Receptor 1 was prepared from 2 and but-2-ene-1,4-diol, using 1-hydroxy-3-(isothiocyanato)tetrabenzyldistannoxane as catalyst (Supporting Information). 1 is soluble in polar organic solvents and in organic-aqueous medium.
