    • General procedure: dicarboxylic acid (5.0 mmol) and ethylene glycol divinyl ether (5.0 mmol) in dry tetrahydrofuran (2.5 mL) were stirred at room temperature in the presence of 1 mol % of PPTS. After 24 h, the reaction mixture was treated with solid base and purified by high-pressure liquid chromatography if necessary.
