note
-
Figures from the recent production years provided by two library binderies do differ slightly in this regard. One, indicating a stronger-than-average preference among customers to bind monographs, provided figures that illustrated a significant shift in the total volumes processed away from serials and toward monographs. The second bindery with production figures indicated a nearly equal decline in both categories over the past six years. Both companies are currently seeking expanded product lines with the intent of filling vacant niches.
