- All magnetic potential anisotropies (crystalline, form, stress, etc.), apart from the remanent field from surrounding clusters and the external applied magnetic field, deliver a potential for the giant spin with a symmetry such that if there is a minimum under a magnetic field H at the angle θ, there is also a minimum under a magnetic field -H at the angle θ+π. The spin clusters switch to the opposite direction when the magnetic field is reversed.
