It is also possible, however, that Sheepshanks is referring to the Partido Demócrata Femenino (Democratic Women's Party), but Lavrin states this group was founded later, in the mid 1920s.

35. This organisation, unfortunately, has been little studied, and it is difficult to determine its size, influence, or even the details about its formation. Asuncion Lavrin states that the first meeting of the Liga took place in Buenos Aires in 1926, but the group was clearly formed earlier than that, as its official publication attests.
