    • The values are approximate because (a) the enact path length and concentration of the absorbing species are not known and (b) the maximum absorbance is not a steady-state absorbance. ∈ was estimated by assuming a path length of 50 μm defined by the spacer, the concentration was assumed to be one-third of the total concentration, and the absorbance value is obtained from a curve fit; the electronic coupling term was calculated by using the reported equations.
