    • Discussion of excitation of the additional waves must involve the so-called additional boundary conditions (ABC), which has been well investigated for bulk waves. For exciton-polariton waves in organic crystals with Frenkel excitons, Pekar's ABC is a good approximation [3, 18]. For excitation of surface polaritons at the edge of film the problem of ABC is more complicated because one must take into account diffraction and conversion of surface waves to bulk radiation [25].
