    • The (200)τ and (002)τ peaks are difficult to resolve because of the broadening of the XRD due to the small size of the particles examined in this study. It is also possible that the crystallized material contains a mixture of the tetragonal and cubic phases. Distinguishing between these two phases is very difficult in the q range examined in this study because the most-intense cubic and tetragonal peaks differ by only two hundredths of q units and the difference between the cubic (200) and tetragonal (200) peaks is 1/100 of a g unit. These effects are virtually indistinguishable due to line broadening in these small particle systems.
