These authors also examined the room temperature properties of aqueous solutions of SPC,32 TIP4P,30 and MCY33 models for water using either a potential cutoff or Ewald summation.34 Both pure water and dilute solutions of Cl i and Fe2+ were investigated. They found not only solvent-solvent orientational correlations but also ion-solvent energies, ion-induced solvent reorganization energies, and ionic diffusion coefficients.
